Man Gazing Down at the Seine

A man gazes down at the Seine. We don’t really see the water at all; this is similar to the composition of Rising, where a principle subject is implied. I intentionally kept the colors very monochromatic with some highlights of blue, red, green, and brown as sometimes Paris seems like that.

Un homme fixe de regard la Seine, en dessous de lui. On ne voit vraiment pas du tout l’eau ; celle-ci est pareille à la composition de Monter, (Rising) dont le sujet principal est tacite. J’ai intentionnellement gardé les couleurs très monochromatiques, ajoutant quelques rehauts en bleu, rouge, vert, et marron parce que parfois Paris semble ainsi.
