This is Lafayette Street, just north of East Houston, in Noho, with giant billboards dominating the scene, seen from the front and back. The repetition of reds in the billboard facing front (an adaptation of a Prada ad), the Bank of America (both outside and through the window), the neon sign on the left, flowers in the center, and as reflections in the car in the foreground creates a cohesive and striking visual. The repetition of sky blue in the man’s shirt and the store on the left adds a sense of balance and harmony to the scene.
