A guitar player is playing in Washington Square Park. Four women sit on the fountain’s rim, two engaged in conversation, one reading, and one regarding the player. The colors here are intentionally muted, as most of what is represented is stone: the bench, the ground, the arch, and the buildings. The color intensity reaches it’s height in the neck of the guitar.
