Luna Park

I was inspired by the Coney Island show at the Brooklyn Museum to do something from my experiences.

The setting is the Coney Island boardwalk at dusk, with the focus on the light from the Luna Park ticket booth and the flower-and-crescent-moon neon signs above. Within the composition, the action takes place in different spaces: front and center, the young family waits to get tickets, and a couple embraces in the shadows on the left. In the background, the silhouette of Coney Island, the games on the right, and the dancing orange neon signs echoing the circular and radiating lines of the Wonder Wheel.
