This painting captures a sunny afternoon view of West 20th Street from the High Line.  The main focus is on the red fire escape, which echoes in some of the construction objects on the street. The towering building on the right foreground is painted in the same blue hue as the sky, and that color is repeated in the window reflections on the upper left.  Two figures can be seen crossing paths on the sidewalk.
