Roses on Allen Street

This is Allen Street in the Lower East Side, just south of Delancey Street. I was struck by the way the roses planted on the meridian, Allen Malls, contrast the surrounding storefronts yet how the color red flows throughout. I was also fascinated by the interplay of cool and warm reds, both in the buildings and the flowers.
