Street Vendors – Times Square

This painting was the third and final in the small-scale Time Square theme. Unlike the previous two, the focus on this was color, particularly the patterns of the umbrellas. Maybe because this was painted around the time of the Presidential Election, there is a recurrence of blue and red throughout the painting. I chose the title because the camaraderie of the vendors was an important theme in this painting.
