Waverly Diner at Sunset

This is the Waverly Diner, at the corner of Waverly Place and 6th Avenue. I wanted to capture the warmth of the sunset light on the scene, combined with the neon, subway-billboard, and subway-globe lights.

People walk along 6th Avenue – one person walks a dog. A woman in the foreground texts on her phone, and men are walking up and down the subway steps. The Empire State Building is visible in the background.
