Central Park – Emerging Spring
Oil on linen, 36″ x 54″, 2018
.
Afternoon in Central Park: all is quiet. A robin sits along the edge of the Lake, looking on. It’s mid-April, the park retains a winter gloom, but winter is slowly giving way to spring, and trees are beginning to bud, giving them a slightly green look.
