Legends on Rivington Street

The scene is at the corner of Rivington and Forsyth Street in the Lower East Side. The painting features an interpretation of the “27 Club” mural by Eduardo Kobra. The 27 Club includes popular musicians (and actors, artists) who died when they were 27. Here, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, and Amy Winehouse are honored.
From the trees, you can see that it is early spring.
